Lois Anderson Retires from Board of Directors

Bremerton, Washington – May 17th, 2023. In the realm of public transportation, certain individuals stand out for their unwavering commitment, passion, and dedication to serving their community. Today, Paratransit Services was honored to celebrate one such remarkable individual, Lois Anderson, as she embarks on a well-deserved retirement after nearly three decades of exemplary service on the Paratransit Services Board of Directors.

Lois Anderson was nominated for the Paratransit Services Board of Directors in October 1993 where her impact was felt immediately. Her prior experience serving on the Board of Community Transit, the Board of the Puget Sound Regional Council, and as the former Mayor of Mountlake Terrace helped drive positive changes for growth within our company. Her kind and humble leadership has reached the lives of countless individuals, from our top executives to the clients that we serve on a daily basis.

The Paratransit Services Board of Directors released this statement in regards to Mrs. Anderson’s retirement:

“We will miss you and are forever grateful for your service through the years. You have provided leadership that clearly demonstrates the values of integrity, safety, and service and have taken great joy in Paratransit Services mission of making a difference in the lives of those we serve each day!

As we bid farewell to Lois Anderson, we celebrate the profound impact she has had on Paratransit Services and the lives of those she served. The legacy Lois leaves behind is one of empowerment, compassion, and tireless advocacy.
