Michell Marion Recognized With 2023 President’s Merit Award

Bremerton, Washington – On December 17th, 2024, Paratransit Services was honored to award Michell Marion with the President’s Merit Award for 2023.

Michell was hired as a customer service representative in January of 2013. A couple years later, she was selected to work with Teresa Williams on the Veterans grant. She attended Veteran stand-downs meetings and worked to assist veterans find transportation. She did all of this at the same time she was continuing her CSR duties. Michell has also cross-trained in a number of areas in the call center over the years. Anytime we ask Michell for assistance she is there. She is always the first person to work extra hours when we are short-handed and she does it with a smile. Her dedication, strong work ethic and willingness to do whatever is necessary to get the job done makes her a huge asset to our call center. Michell is appreciated more than she knows!

General Manager of the Call Center, Ann Kennedy, had this to share about Michell:

“Michell has been wonderful to work with over the years.  Her work ethic is amazing and she leads by example. She has cross-trained in a number of areas in Brokerage, and will begin working with the Contracts Administrator next year. Her experience as a veteran was instrumental in the work she did on the veteran's project.  Michell is an important part of the Brokerage team and for Paratransit Services.”

The awards presentation was held at our NEMT Call Center in Bremerton, Washington. CEO/President of Paratransit Services, David Baker presented Michell with her award in a celebration attended by her peers and members of the corporate office.
