Paratransit Services Honors Teresa Jablonowski with President’s Merit Award
Red Bluff, California – On October 30th, 2024, Paratransit Services was honored to award Teresa Jablonowski with the President’s Merit Award for 2023.
Teresa started working for Paratransit Services part-time in August 2018. In November 2021, Teresa was moved to a full time position, then in May of 2023 she took the class to become a driver/trainer. When Teresa trains, she goes by the book. She makes sure the driver’s for ParaTRAX know where the can or where they cannot go. She practices safe driving and teaches that way. Although TJ was trained to do every fixed route we had she prefers the one on one relationships with the seniors and disabled clients.
General Manager, Sharon Young, had this to share about Teresa:
“Teresa goes above and beyond her duties. When she knows that a client is immobile and needs a walker, wheelchair or another means of help, she finds a way to get what they need. She takes used appliances from care homes that don’t need them and then gives them to a people that do need them. To say she cares for the clients is an understatement. A blind client needed help booking rides, so she helped her. A client obviously was unable to walk onto the bus and (Teresa) was afraid of her falling, so she asked management to talk to her home caregivers to see if they could provide a wheel chair for her. If not, Teresa had one she could donate. This type of action saved the client from falling unnecessarily on or off the bus.
Teresa is very trust worthy and we can count on her at all times to do a fantastic job.”
The awards presentation was held at our TRAX location in Red Bluff, California. CEO/President of Paratransit Services, David Baker presented Ms. Jablonowski with her award in a celebration held via ZOOM.
